Meredith Valenzano is Principal and Portfolio Manager at Karlin Equities, where she oversees Karlin’s direct public securities investments. Prior to joining Karlin in 2012, Meredith worked at Canyon Capital Advisors LLC, where she worked in credit investment research in the chemical and semiconductor industries after establishing the firm’s bank loan trading operations department. Earlier in her career, she worked in fixed income trading at Watershed Asset Management and in equity trading operations at Thomas Weisel Partners. Meredith holds a B.S. in Business Administration with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
