Mel is a portfolio manager responsible for insurance and custom strategies. He also has extensive investment experience in fixed income security analysis, particularly in the structured products area. Prior to joining the firm in 2001, Mel served as a derivative securities analyst with National City Corporation, focused on portfolio structure, fixed income analytics, and optimization. Mel graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Cleveland State University and a Master of Business Administration from John Carroll University.
