Melinda is a Principal and the Chief Compliance Officer for Freestate Advisors in the Kansas City office. Melinda grew up in a small town in central Kansas where she learned the values of hard work, planning and saving. She attended the University of Kansas and began her career as a CPA in Kansas City. After spending a few decades working at both large and small companies in accounting, finance, and marketing, Melinda joined Freestate in 2017 and has been an owner since 2019. Because of her experience across industries and disciplines, she brings a wealth of experience to advise both individuals and businesses on their investments and overall financial health.
