Mayer is a Managing Director and Head of Investments of PAAMCO Prisma, a global investment firm founded in 2000 focused on delivering alpha through a multi-strategy, multi-PM approach. Mayer is an active risk taker and a driving force in the firms Molecule and FoF Investment Committees. He began his career in finance at Procter & Gamble in 1999. Mayer holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and an Engineering degree from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Venezuela, where he won the first prize in a National Physics Olympiad. Mayer has also served as trustee on non-profit organizations in education.
