Maury is a native of Atlanta and attended Briarcliff High School, The University of Georgia, and Georgia State University. He started as a life insurance agent in 1985 with Equitable Life Assurance Society (now AXA). Prior to joining Ferguson Shapiro, Maury was a founder of Your Wealth Partners. He holds the designations of CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant).
