Matthew Nicholls is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Franklin Resources, Inc. He is responsible for the firm's global Finance, Operations & Technology (O&T), Corporate Development, M&A, Risk, Human Resources, Real Estate, Communications and Investor Relations functions. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2019, Mr. Nicholls was a managing director and global head, corporate and investment banking, for the asset management industry in the Financial Institutions Group at Citigroup based in New York.
