Graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy (2006). Matt earned a CPA certificate from the state of Colorado in 2007 where he held a license until 2017. Currently, he is licensed as a CPA in the state of Idaho and is a member of the AICPA and ISCPA. He worked for Ernst & Young as an auditor from 2006-2010 in Denver, Colorado. Before joining Mountain Pacific in 2017, Matt worked in accounting and finance for Gold Fields and Suncor Energy in Denver, Colorado. Matt became a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder in 2021.
