Matt’s career in financial services has spanned client facing, risk taking & risk management roles across Australia, North America and Asia-Pacific. He joined HESTA in 2020, where he is responsible for Investment Risk Management. Prior to HESTA, he was a Managing Director in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Global Banking & Markets division in New York, where he was responsible for the portfolio lending & risk functions of its financing business. He spent 11 years at Morgan Stanley in New York and Hong Kong in the Institutional Securities Group where he headed equity trading & financing risk for the Asia-Pacific region.
