Mr. Matthew Altenau serves as Principal and Member of the investment Committee at Fayez Sarofim. He is currently responsible for research in the banking, beverage, homebuilding, and household products industries. Mr. Altenau received an M.B.A. from the University of Texas in 2006 and a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 1999, where he graduated summa cum laude. Prior to attending the University of Texas, he was employed with Fayez Sarofim & Co. as a Financial Analyst and with Salomon Smith Barney as an Investment Banker in the Financial Institutions Group.
