Mats holds a degree in economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and has worked in the financial industry since 1987. Among other things, Mats was CEO of Swedbank Robur AB from 2004 to 2009. During the same period, Mats was a board member of the Swedish Fund Management Companies Association, where he was chairman and vice chairman for some years. Since 2023, Mats has been a board member of the association again.
