Mat is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager in Whittier Trust’s Reno office. He manages equity, fixed income, and alternative assets for high-net-worth individuals and foundations. As a member of Whittier’s Investment Committee, Mat helps establish the overall investment strategy of the firm. He is also responsible for analyzing companies in the Communication Services sector. Prior to joining Whittier Trust in 2012, Mat worked at the Nevada Small Business Development Center, where he helped small businesses secure debt and equity financing in order to create jobs in the local community.
