Mary joined the foundation in 2019. She is part of the Executive team’s dynamic duo—tasked with clearing the path for teammates to move fast and pursue their bold mission. She believes in leading with empathy and built her role around reinforcing the clarity, care, and culture core to Segal’s identity. Mary became committed to locally-driven social change during her work as a research fellow with the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood. She is an artist at heart and arrived at Segal via a long, winding path which includes a brief stint constructing a pyramid in the desert. She holds a BA in Studio A
