I am a portfolio manager and Head of High Yield at Principal Asset Management with responsibility for high yield credit and levered loans. Previously, I was the managing director of fixed income credit research and trading. I joined the firm as a corporate credit analyst in 1990, became the managing director of fixed income credit research and trading, and assumed his current role in 2004. I received a bachelor's degree in finance and an MBA with a finance emphasis from the University of Iowa. I hold the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and am a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Iowa.
