Marie is the twin daughter of Jean and George Brumley and is married to Brad Foster. They have three sons – Nicholas, Drayton, and Ben. She received her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Georgia. Marie worked in the Gwinnett County, GA school system for six years. Marie is on the Board of Whitefoord Inc where she was the immediate past board chair. She is a trustee for the Foundation board of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and also serves as the chair of the annual fund committee.
