Manpreet began his entrepreneurial career in high school with Desi Vibes, a social networking start-up that he co-founded and operated with his brother Gurpreet. He then went on to work in finance and investments as Employee #1 at Profit Investment Management, a DC-based firm where he helped to grow assets under managed from $20 million at the time to over $2 billion via stints in trading, marketing, research, investing, operations, and maintaining client relationships. In 2006, Singh became one of the youngest CFA charter holders in the world and was profiled by CFA Magazine as its “Most Ambitious” member.
