I am the CEO and President of UPMC, a $23 billion world-renowned global health care provider and insurer, where we are developing new models of accountable, cost-effective, patient-centered care. I joined UPMC in 2004 as the President of Magee-Womens Hospital and Vice President of Women's Health and most recently served as the Executive Vice President of UPMC and President of its Health Services Division. Over my 30-year career in health care, I have held roles across clinical, academic and operations positions across a range of non-profit health care providers, including the University of Pennsylvania Health System, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and the Mount Sinai Medical Center.
