Laura L. Powers is the Chief Financial Officer of Schwartz & Co. She is responsible for the company’s books and records, preparation of taxes, administration and compliance for the company. She began her career at a local public accounting firm where she received her training in all aspects of accounting, auditing and taxation. After seven years, she moved into private accounting and hired in with a local manufacturer as the Assistant Controller and was promoted to Controller within eighteen months.
