Laura Baxter-Simons is General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Meritage Group LP, an investment management firm that operates a series of hedge funds. Prior to joining Meritage, she was employed as Associate Counsel by Renaissance Technologies LLC. Laura is a co-founder and Director of Sea Change Foundation, a private family foundation currently dedicated to addressing global climate change. Laura is also a co-founder of Prelude Ventures, a cleantech investment fund.
