Prior to joining Kovitz, Lance was a Wealth Planner at Fifth Third Private Bank where he specialized in Advanced Estate Planning, Charitable Planning, and Business Succession in addition to comprehensive planning around Retirement, Income and Estate Taxes, and Executive Compensation. Lance earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and his Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School (now UIC Law School).
