Kurt Laning leads the teams that provide Newport's clients with effective, efficient and contemporary nonqualified plan solutions—from the initial plan design to the vehicles used to informally fund them. He also leads our Retirement Sales teams and Bank-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) group. Kurt has over 30 years of experience in our industry with extensive expertise in the BOLI market. Previously he was President of Clark Consulting, whose operations were acquired by Newport. Kurt’s experience includes product development for a major insurance company, defined benefit pension consulting, and working for a third party marketing firm specializing in the bank insurance marketplace.
