Over the course of his career, Mr. Semnani worked for several Salt Lake City-based companies, in addition to starting his own successful enterprises. In 1993, however, he decided to pursue charitable work that involved philanthropy and aid to others. Inspired by his grandmother, Mr. Semnani and the Semnani Family Foundation established the Maliheh Free Clinic, which provides much-needed medical care at no charge to uninsured and low-income families in the greater Salt Lake City area.
