I am Chief Executive Officer and a founding partner of Forbes Family Trust. Previously, I worked as a Senior Managing Director and Corporate Counsel for Third Avenue Management LLC. Before joining Third Avenue, I was a Senior Associate for over eight years at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett LLP, representing principals and financial advisors on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, and private equity investment, as well as advising boards and directors on corporate governance. Prior to joining Simpson Thacher, I was an associate at Lehman Brothers in the real estate investment banking group. In 2010, my co‐authors and I published a book “The Family Office, Advising the Fina
