I have spent the past 18 years working as a development professional, including positions in fund distribution for the United Way, individual donor development and grant writing for several nonprofit and government entities, including leading the grants department at St. Petersburg College (SPC). Over the course of my career, I have led multiple grant writing teams which resulted in securing/managing over $100 million dollars from various funding sources, which included the Department of Education, the Department of Labor, National Science Foundation, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
