Katie focuses on new business development. She works primarily with business owners and senior-level executives, helping them formulate and implement financial plans. She also works with nonprofits, foundations and institutions. Katie began her career as a financial advisor with Piper Jaffray in 2006. Piper was acquired by UBS where she advanced to account vice president. Katie joined Mariner Wealth Advisors as a senior wealth manager in 2009 and migrated to the role of senior wealth consultant in 2010. She became a principal in 2019. Katie has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University.
