Jun Yang comes to Oberlin after a long tenure and leadership at the Weizmann Institute of Science, and brings to Oberlin extensive investment experience for the private sector. Most recently, he served as senior investment officer at Weizmann Global Endowment Management Trust, a multibillion dollar endowment in New York City. During his 16-year tenure at the trust, his accomplishments include significantly growing assets and forming the investment office for the Weizmann Institute of Science. Prior to that role, he worked as an investment consultant to the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation in New York City. He came to the college in April 2019 to spearhead the Investment Office.
