Julie is a firm owner and manager. She advises clients, manages investment portfolios, and leads investment research as the head of the firm’s Investment Committee. Julie has been managing investment portfolios since 2005, when she joined Hanson & Doremus. She left the firm in 2009 when she moved to the Bay Area in California, then returned to working remotely in 2012 with a focus on equity research. Before joining Hanson+Doremus, Julie was a vice president in Citigroup’s foreign exchange group and before that, she did research and policy outreach for a national macroeconomic think tank.
