Jonathan Van Gorp, a Managing Director, is responsible for leading portfolio management and partner selection across Makena’s Real Assets investments. In addition to his duties overseeing real assets investments, Jonathan co-leads the firms sustainability efforts as they relate to investment diligence and oversight. Prior to joining Makena, Jonathan was a Vice President at Paxion Capital, a Bay Area family office, where he oversaw the buildout of the real assets portfolio. Previously, Jonathan was a Director at the Stanford Management Company, overseeing domestic and international real asset investments.
