John O'Connell retired in 2011 as Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Centric Group, a holding company controlled by the Taylor family, founders of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Prior to his 9 years at Centric, O'Connell spent 22 years at Enterprise, including 10 years as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors. O'Connell served in a variety of financial administration roles at Enterprise as the company grew from 50 offices and 5,000 rental vehicles to over 5,000 offices and 500,000 rental vehicles.
