John is President and Chief Investment Officer, although his primary job is to serve clients as Portfolio Manager. While he started picking stocks in middle school, his professional career began in 1994 managing part of the State of Wisconsin Investment Board in the Applied Security Analysis Program (ASAP) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Upon graduation with his MS in Finance, he honed his analytical craft at Everen Securities, Salomon Smith Barney and Frye-Louis Capital Management in Chicago.
