Mr. Matelis serves as Newport Trust’s Chief Financial Analyst and oversees its business functions, including financial analysis, relationship management, trust administration, operations, marketing and business development. In addition to his management responsibilities, he works on a variety of assignments, including investments in company stock, transactions involving plan assets, and other fiduciary decision-making matters. Mr. Matelis regularly presents to industry groups on topics of relevance to Newport Trust’s business.
