John Cimaroli is a partner at William Blair and a portfolio manager working with a select number of families and institutions to help meet their wealth advisory and investment management needs. He originally joined William Blair in 1998 as an equity research associate, analyzing individual businesses and making investment recommendations to institutions and individuals. He then left William Blair to attend the University of Chicago where he received his M.B.A. After graduating, he worked at T. Rowe Price as an equities analyst in the healthcare sector and spent eight years as a principal at Rail-Splitter Capital Management, a long/short equity hedge fund before rejoining William Blair in
