Joel is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner professional. Prior to joining Cornerstone Planning, LLC, he held accounting roles in both public accounting practice and corporate accounting. He has experience with individual, corporate, and trust tax returns. Joel graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University with a BS in Mathematics in 2003. He received his Masters of Accountancy from UNC-Charlotte. Joel is a member of the North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). Joel is a member of Christ Covenant Church in Matthews, NC and serves on the Board of Directors for Campus Outreach. He and his wife Laura have two daughters
