Joanne Burks, CPA serves as Director of Client Service for Avondale. Her responsibilities include the administrative and operational aspects of the firm. She joined Avondale after a career in accounting and finance in industries including commercial real estate, restaurant management, and the non-profit sector where she has served as Controller, Financial Analyst, Accounting Manager, and CFO. She obtained her BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, is a licensed certified public accountant, and holds a CGMA designation from the AICPA. Her professional affiliations include membership in the Austin Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of C
