Jim Torrey joined the Watchman Group at the start of 2019, bringing over his longtime clients from Cornerstone Advisory, a company he owned and managed for more than 30 years. Jim is a CPA and brings decades of experience in wealth management, financial planning, income and estate tax planning and compliance, and retirement planning. He contributes to our investment decision-making process, as well as to the financial planning and tax strategies that are implemented on a firm-wide level. Jim was born in Dallas, grew up in Odessa and graduated from SMU. He lived in Dallas for many years but since 2001 has made Greensboro his home.
