Jim is the founder, a Principal, and Chief Compliance Officer of Coons Advisors. He is a portfolio manager and a member of the Investment Policy Committee, to which he contributes proprietary economic research. Prior to founding the firm in 2003, Jim was Senior Vice President and Chief Economist for Huntington National Bank, where he had previously led the Investment Management Department. Jim also previously provided guidance to the Ohio Office of Budget and Management as Chairman of the Ohio Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors. Jim was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the First Bexley Bank, where he also served as Chairman of the Asset-Liability Management Committee. H
