Jim joined MTM in 2020 as a result of the merger with the Raymond James office he owned and operated with Joe Towson. He was an independent advisor with Joe and their partner (now retired) Jim Grier since 1995. Prior to that, Jim was with A.G. Edwards & Sons where he began his investment career in 1983. A 1978 graduate of the University of the South - Sewanee, Jim has remained involved with his alma mater. He has serves as admissions volunteer, Class Giving Agent, and has served several terms on both the Alumni Executive Board and on the Board of Trustees.
