Jason R. Safran was appointed the second chief investment officer (CIO) of Texas Christian University in December 2021 and is responsible for managing the university’s Endowment assets and short-term investment portfolios. Mr. Safran served in an interim CIO capacity for five months. Previously, he was the senior asset manager for TCU’s Endowment and had the responsibility for researching and evaluating investment opportunities across asset classes.
