Mr. Copeland joined Highland Associates in 2011 and serves as one of the analysts in our dedicated research group. He specializes in alternative research. Prior to joining Highland Associates, he worked with Yvonne Messer and Associates conducting equity, fixed income, and investment manager research, and he was also responsible for asset/liability and portfolio analytics. Mr. Copeland earned his Bachelor of Business and Master of Business Administration (MBA), with a concentration in Financial Risk, from the University of Alabama. He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder and a CFA charterholder.
