James' investment career began in 1999, and he joined NEPC in 2007. James is a member of the Discretionary Team where he develops investment strategy and maintains and adjusts discretionary portfolios based on client objectives. James works with the NEPC client teams to understand objectives and communicates these with the Discretionary Committee who approves initial and ongoing asset allocation changes. James is a co-chair of NEPC's Asset Allocation Committee and a member of the Fixed Income Research Advisory Group.
