Jim Platz is vice president and portfolio manager for American Century Investments®. Platz joined the company in 2003 and has worked in the financial industry for more than 15 years. Previously, he was a vice president, senior portfolio manager for Standish Mellon Asset Management, formerly Certus Asset Advisors. Platz received a M.B.A. from the University of Southern California, and a bachelor's degree in Political Economies of Industrial Societies and History from the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Platz is a CFA charterholder.
