James has managed investment portfolios for over 30 years with a wealth of experience gained across several leading financial institutions. James spent the first half of his career in institutional portfolio management. He spent 15 years at HSBC Asset Management, where he headed the Global Fixed Income team responsible for the management of fixed income portfolios for sovereign and central bank clients. James moved into wealth management in 2005 and was the Vice President responsible for the development of fixed income business across the EMEA region at JP Morgan Private Bank.
