James joined Rathbones in November 2023 following his previous role as Co-head of Investments at CCLA Investment Management, where he was responsible for the management of their multi-asset and global equity funds. James has also worked at Santander Asset Management and Moore UK Chartered Accountants, and during his career has managed investment portfolios for a wide variety of charities and other not-for-profit organisations, as well as institutions and retail investors. James has a BA in History from Leicester University is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI (FCSI) and holds a Certificate in Business Accounting.
