I cover private markets at MOSERS, primarily across private credit and private real assets within the ~$10 billion pension portfolio. In a prior role at NM PERA, I contributed to creating the Excess Value tool, transforming how we measure performance in private market funds. This tool facilitates a more accurate and tangible dollar-to-dollar comparison against public market benchmarks, moving beyond traditional measures that are fraught with issues (IRR/Multiples). Earlier in my career, I focused on real assets and hedge funds at IU Health in Indianapolis. Leading up to these asset allocator roles, I spent four years trading derivatives for institutional clients at Parametric in Minneapol
