Ilya Zaides is Founder and CIO of 14B which he launched in 2022. Prior to starting 14B, Ilya was the CIO of KG, which he co-founded in 2008. Prior to starting KG, Ilya worked as an analyst for Ivy Asset Management and then as a Senior Vice President and Head of Hedge Fund Research for Auda Advisor Associates. Ilya began his career as a tax attorney working on corporate transactions and financial products as an Associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP and later at King & Spalding LLP. Ilya earned a J.D. from New York University and a B.A in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
