Ilene Spitzer is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer in the Multi-Family Office (MFO) of BBH. Ilene helps lead the Investment Research Group and is based in the New York office. The Investment Research Group is responsible for manager selection, capital allocation, and investment decisions across MFO client portfolios. Prior to joining the firm, Ilene spent 10 years at The Rockefeller University Endowment and began her career at Forester Capital, a fund of hedge funds. Ilene serves on the Investment and Finance Committees for the American Council of Learned Societies. Ilene received a B.A. in economics from Barnard College and is a CFA charterholder.
