Ian W. Smith is a Managing Director and portfolio manager of equity and fixed income portfolios. Prior to Silvercrest, Mr. Smith was a Vice President at Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM), where he managed accounts specializing in global asset allocation. He arrived at CSAM as a result of that firm’s merger with Warburg, Pincus Asset Management where he had worked since 1997. Previously, he worked in institutional client services within the international equity group at Scudder, Stevens & Clark. Mr. Smith holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Southern California.
