One of City Asset Management’s original founders, Hilary has been with the firm for over 40 years. She is proud to have seen it develop into the successful company it is today, still co-owned by the founding partners and staff. She enjoys being involved in investment selection (most importantly to structure portfolios to maximize tax efficiency and meet clients’ aspirations) and is also a key part of our women’s initiative. Hilary began her career in medical research, before teaching science while living in Kuwait and raising her four children. Today, her nine grandchildren take up much of her attention outside work, but she also makes time for gardening and travel.
