In August 1998, when Investec entered into a merger agreement with R F Cadiz & Company, in terms of which District Securities Bank and R F Cadiz were to merge operations, Guy decided to establish a new asset management company - Prescient Investment Management. He's been involved in the investment process at Prescient ever since. Guy has held numerous executive management positions since 1986 and is an expert in the specialised field of bond and derivative management. His career includes working as Bond Analyst and Manager, as well as Derivative Specialist at Colonial Mutual, Cape Gilt Investments - later renamed Corporate Portfolio Managers - and Southern Life.
