Mr. Casals is the Managing Member and Chief Investment Officer of Black Swift Group, LLC and the Portfolio Manager for the Black Swift’s private funds. Mr. Casals began his career in fixed income in the capital markets group for Morgan Keegan and First Union. Mr. Casals was a Senior Consultant for Barra’s Equity Trading Services Group and a Portfolio Manager and Head of Risk Management for Firsthand Capital Management. Prior to launching Black Swift’s first private fund in 2016, Mr. Casals was a Portfolio Manager for Paceline Capital managing a portfolio of alternative investments and RMBS and CLO securities. Mr. Casals holds a B.A. from Boston College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst
