Gration M. Rwegasira is an Associate Professor, Researcher and Consultant in Crop Protection. He Lectures and Supervises Students’ Research in Introductory Entomology, Annual Crops, and Applied Entomology. His research involvements include projects on Applied Entomology and Pest Management for Tropical Crop Pests; Plant Virus Epidemiology; Seed Systems and Access; Biotechnology; and Biological Control Agents. He has been involved in various Research Projects such as; Management of Tropical whiteflies for the control of Cassava Mosaic Disease and Sweetpotato Viruses in the Lake Region; Developing Epidemiology of Cassava Brown Streak Disease in East Africa; Restoring Food Security in Refuge
